Born: January 28, 1969 (age 48)

Education: University of California, Berkeley (BA) University of California, Los Angeles (JD)

Career: After law school, she worked as an attorney specializing in labor law at a private practice. In 1998, she joined the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 441 as a compliance officer, as well as the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA). She was also elected as the Executive Secretary-Treasurer for the Orange County Central Labor Council. She now serves with her sister Loretta, Congresswoman from the 47th District of California

Early Life: Linda Sanchez was born in Orange County, California. She grew up with six siblings, raised by Mexican immigrant parents in Anaheim, where she attended Valencia High School. She earned her BA in Spanish in 1991 at the University of California, Berkeley and her Juris Doctor degree in 1995 at the UCLA School of Law, where she was an editor of the Chicano-Latino Law Review.
